The 1970 Ford Torino NorthWest Edition 429 Cobra Jet featured here is finished in stunning Pacific Blue with a gorgeous black interior. While 601 N/W Torino's were planned only 395 were built, five of which received the 429ci engine and of the five only one was constructed with the C-code Cobra Jet 429.
Three factory special colors were available Oregon Orange, Washington Green and the stunning Pacific Blue. The aptly named NorthWest Edition featured a muscle car appearance with black hoods, dual chrome lock pins, dual racing mirrors and rocker panel stripes. Taking up less room, the headlights were integrated into a larger grille opening. The air scoops moved to the front wheels as two simulated air intakes on the outside of each headlight. The side coves were still gone but so was the simulated rear wheel air scoops.
